Between November 27 and December 4, 2024, eight young participants from Turkey took part in an international project organized by Fundació Champagnat in Llinars del Vallès, near Barcelona, Spain. A total of 40 participants from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and Turkey joined the activities, which included organic paint production workshops, nature walks, and events aimed at raising awareness about environmental issues.

 

Representing Turkey were İrem Ekin, İlayda Yalçınöz, Recep Örs, Ahmet Örs, Yunus Tevfik Cüce, Mehmet Fatih Öncel, Gülsüm Hansa Çevik, and Mehmet Ali Yılmaz. We sincerely thank Fundació Champagnat for making this valuable project possible.

Through the Erasmus+ project “Bridges Uniting Arts For A Better Future” held in Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona, we had the opportunity to experience inspiring activities, which we later shared by organizing inclusive events with individuals with disabilities in Antalya.

During the project, we explored the unifying power of art and sports, strengthened our connection with nature, and learned valuable lessons about building a sustainable future together. Through nature walks, creative workshops, inclusive sports activities, and environmentally focused projects, we not only enhanced our personal development but also built strong bonds with people from different backgrounds.

By implementing these experiences in our local community, we had the chance to engage with individuals with disabilities, share what we learned, and contribute to a more inclusive and compassionate society.

This journey has strengthened our belief in mutual understanding, collaboration, and the possibility of building a better world together. We are committed to continuing our efforts in projects that bring people together through art, sports, and nature for a brighter and more united future.
